What music is important for me? And why?

That is my homework of English lesson.
The music I heard lately is important for me. Because I am not accustomed to listening to music. I often sing, hum or whistle music I hear on TV or in the movie theater. Even if I feel the music is not good or shallow, hearing the music often makes me sing unconsciously.
