Christmas cake

I post on May 24, 2006 in fact.

I baked the Christmas cake. That cake can be preserved until Christmas because it contains a large percentage of alcohol. That Christmas cake originate in British traditional Christmas pudding. British people had needed preserved food because they could't go out in winter.
I had preserved dry fruits in brandy for ingredients of that cake several monthes ago. I had put dry fruits in a big bottle and poured brandy into it. Most of that dry fruits are left yet. So I have to bake the cake again and again, several times over. As a result, there will be a lot of cake.
I'd like to give some of them my friends. That cake taste little bitter and very spicy. Some people like, and other people don't. My elder sister likes them. Sometimes she eats cake whole a day. It weights more than 450 grams and it contains 83 grams sugar, 83 grams butter. I try to dissuade her, but she doesn't stop. I bake the Christmas cake every year thinking that I can enjoy to eat at tea break several monthes. But she completes to eat all faster than I expect. I plan to put the cake out of sight in this year.
